Council Supports Implementation of e-Audit and Whistleblowing Systems

City Council Commission A supports implementation of e-audit and whistleblowing systems which launched today by Jakarta Provincial Government.

Commission A Vice Chairman, William Yani said, his side will support as long as that information technology-based system is effective to improve the monitoring.

"We support it as long it is used for positive purpose. Moreover it is related with corruption prevention," he expressed, Thursday (5/10).

City Committed to Prevent and Act Against Integrated Corruption

Though, he wants those systems to not wasting civil apparatus (ASN) time for filling the report.

"The point is do not let this system burdens PNS work. Report is effectively filled at least once a week," he said.

For information, Jakarta Provincial Government is launching e-audit and whistleblowing systems. Both systems are launched to improve monitoring towards local government performance.
